FACEBOOK (04/26/15): I'm putting out TWO new albums this year, the second of the two, is proving to be very challenging. The biggest problem is I have way too much material. Many of these songs have grown on me and it is really hard to cut them down to normal CD length... This album is very ambitious and these are hard decisions that I need to figure out. I write a lot of songs. Some of them stick, some don't. I usually stop writing when I have enough, but I didn't. I'm actually still adding new songs up (until this week). The song I JUST wrote is called, "So Deep In The Night" and it's one of my favorites. I know that after hard decisions are made, the music will be better for it.

FACEBOOK (04/16/15): Well, the first of the two albums to be released this year, ...is (musically) ready to go! Always at the end, there's an edit here, a fix there but often... just changing the order of the songs will reveal the finished product. That happened TODAY. The magic of a running order of an album cannot be underestimated. Creating a running order for an entire album is an art in and of itself. They say that the music business is heading more towards the singles model. I think this is a tragic mistake. Hail albums! ... Still working on a cover concept and eventually I will tell you the name... but in the meantime: record store day is almost here. Saturday. Like Christmas for a music fan. Support your local music stores and dig some tunes.

FACEBOOK (04/08/15): I have two different albums coming out later this year that are MOSTLY completed. One group of these songs is a bit of a departure for me ...where I pushed myself lyrically speaking. The various pieces are getting sorted out right now. I don't know where my brain concocted some of this stuff... Could it be brain damage????

FACEBOOK (01/05/15): I JUST came off of a VERY productive couple of weeks writing new material. This time yielded me eleven (or twelve) quite complete compositions. I'll definitely be kicking arrangement ideas around for these songs in the next couple of weeks. As it so often happens, I was getting the HOTTEST... right at the end. Some brand new tracks to watch out for include: "Diamond In The Rough", "Still It Remains" and "Love Ain't Where It Is Supposed To Be." Here's a shot of me taking a well deserved break. The fine bottle of wine is off camera (to the right).
