It's 4 a.m.
The night is quiet and alone.
You took your love away.
I'm so far from my home.
But I know baby,
the sword it cuts both ways.
You're looking so smug,
but in the end you're going to pay...

Where will you be,
when you hear the cold winds blow?
I know the hurt
is something you don't even know.
'Cause your heart,
it has seen its better days.
You're only finding out...
who's more afraid.

You're slinging arrows.
Must mean that something's wrong.
You've thrown it all away.
You're gonna miss me when I'm gone.
You wouldn't know a good thing
if it stood right next to you.
Don't know just where you're going
or what you're gonna do.

You broke the silence.
But it's a little bit too late.
It ain't in you
to handle it with grace.
It's just another morning.
Life goes on and on.
Time is such a bitch.
It lingers for so long.
It makes me wonder
why you're stuck out on the ground.
Is there any joy
in the wave that you've found?
